  • 2022-2025 K-1st grade Bridges Teacher at Montvale Elementary
  • 2025- Present Interventionist at Montvale Elementary
  • Married to Rusty with one daughter-Molly, and three spoiled dogs.
  • I love Jesus, my family, the VOLS, all things Disney, making crafts, reading, traveling, and of course teaching! Fun Facts: I was born and raised in Blount County and attended Montvale in elementary and middle school. I also graduated from Heritage High School in 1998.

  • I am a proud BCS graduate and even attended Montvale through 8th grade. I have taught for BCS since 2002. 
  • I graduated from the University of Tennessee with my Bachelors Degree in Sociology with a minor in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I then went on to get my Eds from Lincoln Memorial University in Adminstration.
  • My family includes my husband, Greg,  and two older kids, Chloe and Tanner. 
  • I love crafting, antiques, shopping, and most importantly spending time with my family. As a family, we love to camp, travel, and play sports.  There is nothing I enjoy more than watching my kids play basketball.

  • I have an Associates of Arts from Pellissippi, a Bachelor's in Organizational Management from Tusculum, Post Baccalaureate program with teachers license 2005 and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in 2007 from Lincoln Memorial University.
